Cast Iron
Reggio’s ultra durable cast iron grilles and registers are our original product offering; back in 1978 when Mike Reggio couldn’t find high quality cast iron floor registers for his historic home, he decided to make them! Almost 40 years later, Reggio’s cast iron grilles still set the standard for craftsmanship. The baked on powder coat finish provides extra protection and a rich, low luster finish that lasts. Cast iron is an excellent material for high traffic areas, or anywhere strength and durability is required, and provides the authentic look of antique registers.
Aluminum
Aluminum registers are lightweight, rust-proof (making them a superior choice for bathrooms and other damp environments – indoors or out) and strong enough to provide years of service without warping or cracking. We guarantee it! Our cast aluminum registers are available in Reggio’s classic Scroll or the modern Square pattern in a variety of colors, including Gray, which can be painted to match your décor (we recommend paint made for metal and not a latex paint). Our aluminum registers are guaranteed for life.
Steel
Reggio’s Square pattern grilles in Steel are a top choice of designers, architects, and homeowners seeking designs that will complement both traditional and contemporary settings. Handcrafted from solid high-quality steel, then hand finished and powder coated, each piece creates a modern look that lasts. Available in four colors: Oil Rubbed Bronze, Black, Silver, and Gray for custom paint colors to match your décor (we recommend paint made for metal and not a latex paint). Our Steel grilles and registers are guaranteed for life.
Wood
Reggio’s handsome wood grilles are the natural choice for rooms with hardwood floors and also look terrific mounted on other surfaces including stone, tile, or carpet. Our wood grilles are crafted with the same care and attention to detail as our cast metal grilles to provide years of natural beauty to your surroundings. Reggio stocks a variety of standard wood types like White Oak, Red Oak, Cherry, and Maple, but can make virtually any custom grille you desire in custom sizes in any of 49 different premium and exotic woods, including Poplar, Hickory, and Bamboo. Our grilles and registers are available pre-finished with a clear lacquer, or unfinished for custom stains and finishes to match your décor.
